What Can I Put in a Roll Off Container?

Our bins can take a lot, but not all materials can be accepted for safety & environmental reasons. Look over our lists of both acceptable and unacceptable materials before booking a rental with Bargain Bins in Colorado Springs.

If unacceptable material is found on site, it will be removed from the bin. If the material is found upon dumping the bin, it will be returned and you will be assessed an $85 fee per item and any fines administered, plus 10%.

Unacceptable Materials

None of these materials are accepted in our roll-off containers. If found on site or upon dumping the bin, the material will be returned, and you will be fined.

Weight Restrictions

Clutter Buster – 3 Cubic Yards

Available in Colorado Springs only.

Bulky items may be within 1 foot over the front top line of the bin.

General Waste – 1,000 lb Limit

Heavy Materials – 300 lb Limit

*A “square” is a roofing term for enough shingles to cover 100 square feet.

Bargain Bin Max – 12, 15, and 20 Cubic Yard Bins

Bins may only be filled to the top line so material can be safely covered with tarp and transported. Excess material will be removed and left on the customer’s property.

If the bin is over included weight, but able to be hauled legally, the customer will be charged an extra 4¢ per lbs over the included weight: 12 yd- 3,000 lbs, 15 yd- 4,000 lbs, 20 yd- 5,000 lbs. If the bin is too overweight to be hauled legally, the customer will be required to offload material. A $15 per day charge will be assessed to the customer until the bin can be safely and legally removed.

Total Weight – 7,500 lbs Limit
