How Big Is A 12 Yard Dumpster?

A 12 cubic yard dumpster will fit around 6 pickup loads of debris. It is designed for medium loads and is small enough to fit on a driveway or in front of your business. Because of its size, a 12 Yard Dumpster can accommodate larger material. You can put some heavy items like concrete and other building material in as long as it doesn’t exceed the weight limit of up to 3,000 lbs. Small construction sites can utilize this bin too because it is compact while still being able to handle bigger items.
Dimensions
The 12 yard dumpster dimensions are 12’L x 8’W x 4’9″H. When it is full it will need to be tarped for traveling so there can be no material sticking out of the top. When you take the time to level it off, you can usually get more material inside. This style of bin can also be opened from the back for dumping wheels, barrels and general loading.
In order to move this 12 Yard dumpster around a worksite, Bargain Bins will come out and relocate it wherever you want for a small relocation fee. These bins also dump easily so you can arrange a pick up and drop off on the same day. If you need multiple bins on a job site, these work well as they take up a smaller footprint around a building.
